About
StarkNet is a decentralized Validity-Rollup (also referred to as a "ZK-Rollup") that is permissionless. It functions as an L2 network on top of Ethereum, providing any decentralized application (dApp) with the ability to expand its computational scale limitlessly, while also preserving Ethereum's security and composability. This is due to StarkNet's use of the most secure and scalable cryptographic proof system, STARK.
StarkNet has recently announced the launch of its own token. Of the total token supply, 9% has been set aside for end users and developers who have created dApps using StarkNet. End users of StarkNet are those who have interacted with dApps built on StarkNet. Prominent examples of StarkNet dApps include dydx, Immutable, Celer, DeversiFi, Argent, and many others. Therefore, users who utilized StarkNet dApps before the snapshot date are likely to be eligible for the airdrop.
